21.9 Further updates from 20.20

This MR collects further updates to be ported from 20.20 to 21.9. I have tested the following on top of !27922 (merged). Therefore, this stays WIP until !27922 (merged) is not merged.

Here is the efficiency tables for SiSPSeededSLHCTracks and ResolvedSLHCTracks for 10k single muons with pT=1GeV.
