Hi everybody,
during the commissioning phase of run 3, we will additionally provide muons not extensively relying on the NSW information. In order to distinguish them from the ordinary muon chain, I propose to use the extra Commissioning author bit. During the commissioning phase, the MuonSelectionTool can then mark the muons relying on the NSW information as xAOD::Muon::VeryLoose using this bit. If the commissioning is then finalized, MCP silently inverts this switch to provide the users with the high precision muons.
