Add new package DerivationFrameworkLLP
In the Feb 11th AMG meeting, a decision was made to introduce a new DerivationFramework package DerivationFrameworkLLP
to replace DAOD_PHYS
for long-lived particle searches (which has now been approved by PC). This MR begins these developments by adding a new LLP1
derivation.
Currently, the derivation is a clone of DAOD_PHYS
with the addition of
-
VrtSecInclusive_SecondaryVertices
(output ofVrtSecInclusive
algorithm run in the derivation job) LRTElectrons
MuonsLRT
-
InDetTrackParticles
andInDetLargeD0TrackParticles
associated toVrtSecInclusive_SecondaryVertices
-
InDetTrackParticles
andInDetLargeD0TrackParticles
associated toAntiKt4EMTopoJets
-
AntiKt4EMTopoJets
andBTagging_AntiKt4EMTopo
To accommodate the increase in size with respect to DAOD_PHYS
, trigger skimming will be applied. This is currently disabled as the skim rate is consistently 0% on data (investigating).
The plot below shows the size in comparison to DAOD_PHYS
on 1000 events of data18_13TeV.00354826.physics_Main.merge.AOD.r13286_p4910_tid27653618_00.
