As discussed in https://its.cern.ch/jira/browse/ATLASSIM-5932, this MR added an option (USE_GPU, default is false), so the cuda part will not be compiled and used by default in the ART tests. Ping @jchapman , @jbeirer , @cyoung , @bwynne .
