this prb escaped the cleanup we did with @tsulaia
So lets make sure we consistently retrieve from CondStore (actually we do this already in one method but we do not pass it down).
This relates to the cxx issues in ATLASRECTS-7438 .
The second commit should be the final fix and we should be getting a green CI after it.
