cppcheck: parameter should be passed by const reference.

Would you have a look? Also: this type of complain by cppcheck has may false positives and sometimes the suggestion by cppcheck might be wrong. And there might be even compile failures, so this MR will, likely, require some iterations. Sorry for that inconvenience.
