Draft: VP1: Implement a new cut on the Z-axis for geo volumes

This MR adds to VP1 a new feature: the possibility for the user to filter out geometry volumes based on a cut along the Z-axis.

That was requested by the ITk group (@ncalace)

The first working version works pretty fine, as shown in the screencast here below:
