CPAlgorithms: small improvements to Event Selection

Use ROOT::Math::PtEtaPhiEVector instead of TLorentzVector (legacy) in a couple of algorithms, and explicitly cast selections to char so that they can be properly printed to file if requested (in the debugging mode)
