Preparing the FFJetSmearingTool for UFO jets in R22+ - Topology uncertainties and validation scripts

In this MR, a small change to JetUncertainties/Root/FFJetSmearingTool.cxx is introduced to evaluate topology JMR uncertainties in a more precise way, following the !74467 (merged) done by @dmelini in release 21.2.

In addition, the JetUncertainties/CMakeLists.txt file is updated to include a new script to produce JMR in situ uncertainties plots: JetUncertainties/util/JMR_MakeUncertaintyPlots.cxx. Moreover, the C++ script JetUncertainties/util/FFJetSmearingTool_MyExample.cxx is updated to R22 to perform validation studies of the upcoming R22 Large-R jet JMR recommendations.

  • These changes are needed to produce Jet/EtMiss R22 recommendations.
  • The code has been validated by running thousands of events in a custom code based on EventLoop (Analysis Base release 25.2.31).
