Cleaning up debug messages to make them more useful

This monitoring code simulates the trigger tower ET and compares it with the read out values. If mismatches are found, erroneous events are extracted from the RAW data and the code is run manually in debug mode. This update improves the debug messages and removes a few unused variables.
