External Finding Update, master branch (2018.03.01.)

Had to manually cherry-pick this from !247 (merged), since some of the LCG modules were in a slightly different state in the master branch than in 1.0. Other than resolving those conflicts, this MR serves the same purpose as !247 (merged).
