Gaudi Build Update, master branch (2020.07.06.)

This is a replacement for !664 (closed). Removing the commits from it that have been merged into master separately already.

It also updates the build to the (current) latest version of gaudi/Gaudi!986 (merged).

To make this latest version work, I had to fix the same issue that has been plaguing the master--GAUDI builds since some time. (See ATLINFR-3620.) As such, I'll be collecting that update into a separate MR shortly...

Note that this is still not the final version of the code. The final version will not have a mention of @clemenci's Gaudi fork in its history. 😉
