Absolute base address
Hello!
When defining a top-level Cheby map, usually it makes sense to start at address 0; in RTL, any base address offset would be already decoded before reaching the generated component, and in C you access the struct through your own pointer with whatever address is correct.
However, when generating documentation, it would be nice to see where the registers actually end up in the CPU address space. I believe there is already an attribute x-driver-edge.vme-base-addr
to shift all addresses when generating code for VME. Would it make sense to have a more generic mechanism for specifying the base address, which would just generate a constant in C/HDL outputs, but shift all addresses in HTML/MD?
I would volunteer to write the code and submit a MR :)
