fix Fluke8842 operation
Fix Fluke8842 operations. At least the meter we have at LBNL does not respond to G8 command. So, in case the meter returns a 71 error (Syntax error in device-dependent command string) after the G8 call, the meter is reset, and a hardcoded value for the identification is used.
