Kaniko path logic

Alexandre Lossent requested to merge kaniko_path_logic into migrating_to_kaniko

Restore previous CONTEXT_DIR logic, making sure we generate an absolute path as it seems necessary for Kaniko. Proposed logic would NPE when CI_PROJECT_DIR is not defined (i.e. outside GitLab CI)
