File parameters & results: Add content type & format
Currently the Python library just uses the names of returned files to try to detect which files from a capture transition correspond to RX & TX buffers; and it has to assume that all files in a capture transition are buffer capture data. It would be good to add two new properties for files that are supplied as command parameters and returned as results:
- Content type: Label for the type of data/information stored in the file, without specifying the exact file format (as the latter could change from one board to the next)
- Example:
rx-buffer-data
,tx-buffer-data
(and later on in future:mgt-eyescan
,mgt-bathtub
or similar)
- Example:
- Content format: Label for the format used to encode that data, which should be specific enough to be able to unambigously extract the information from that file (value scoped within content type)
- Example: For buffer data
EMPv1
,EMPv2
- Example: For buffer data
