Upper limit for number of bins for Occ1D histogram in PixelAlive, Noise, etc.
Running PixelAlive, Noise, etc. with 1e8+ triggers produces huge Occ1D histograms with 1e8+ bins since the number of bins is set to match the number of triggers, which seems a little unnecessary (in terms of storage space, etc). These calibrations generally cannot be run for above 1e9 or so triggers due to the memory allocation requirements.
Should we set an upper limit (say ~1e4 or similar) for the number of bins in these cases? I believe the loss of "resolution" from more coarse-grained binning would fairly negligible at this point.
