Implement the S-curve calibration scan

Summary

Once #122 (closed) will be fixed, implementing the S-curves calibration scan should be made easier. This issue targets the basic implementation of the S-curve scan based on the full tracking data-path following the specifications described in #28.

What is the expected correct behavior?

One should be able to take S-curves seamlesly with the new sotware.
