jobsub: cleanup code and improve parsing warnings/errors from corry

Some improvements for jobsub split from MR !630 (closed).

Besides some basic code cleanup, this fixes parsing warning and errors from corry. An example where the current parsing go wrong is the line Setting EUDAQ2 log level to "ERROR". Also, the short format wasn't supported before.
