Discrepancies in b-jet energy correction wrt legacy analyses
Discrepancies have been reported in the m(bb) spectrum wrt the legacy analyses by the Analysis:bb𝛄𝛄 and Analysis:bb𝝉𝝉
Tests disabling the b-jet energy correction yielded consistent results.
The discrepancy could either be related to:
- muon-in-jet corrections
- the b-jet energy scale correction, which still relies on Root files derived with DL1r https://gitlab.cern.ch/r3hh-public/b-jet-energy-corrections/-/blob/master/BJetCalibrationTool/BJetCalibrationTool.h#L74
It would be interesting to compare specifically the impact of the muon-in-jet corrections. In R22, this can be achieved by configuring doPtReco=False
