Remove unnecessary includes, unused member variables, and commented-out code.
Use ATLAS naming convention for member variables.
Switch to ATH_MSG macros where possible.
Tried to be conservative as I don't know this codea at all, so further cleaning may still be desirable.

The datasets used for teh FTK tests had issues with the FTK tables. These changes replace the
FTK datasets with more recent mc16e samples which should fix this. Also improved the check for
new datasets to avoid datasets being included multiple times in the jira request.
