2D likelihoods: repeat custom fit if error is missing on one axis

There are cases where an error estimation is only possible for one scan axis. In case this happens, the fit should be repeated once.

On a different note: the fit should be more robust such that these cases don't occur in the first place. Maybe #28 could already improve things.
