enabled an automatic merge when all merge checks for d478fbee pass

upgrade process was easy from our current version - we should chat about whether this is a priority to upgrade our kops instance

I would say it's not urgent (nothing is blocked by it), but a priority.

I think we will need to check the server apply part. They did some changes in the way the diff is calculated, and I believe the current default is being deprecated (probably not an issue, just something to keep in mind).

okay - i will let you know if i see anything weird while i am playing around with it over the next few weeks
