If we merge this now, will it distrub the work of people currently using Ganga ? Should we announce a change in the way of working ?

the script will not affect current users, because they usually call lb-run/SetupProject and that puts the other ganga script in the path.

I agree we should send a mail to advertise the new way of calling ganga.
