fixed support for CentOS6 (force use of SLC6)
This change is needed because after the introduction of CentOS7 support,
CentOS6 was recognized as centos6 and not slc6.

The change has been applied live to v8r5p1 on AFS and CVMFS. We are waiting for confirmation.
