Nice trend plots

Update trendPlots.py to allow to pass a lot of customisation options via command line and added a script in the examples to make the publicity plots.

As I had to heavily modify the function to draw the plots I already cleaned up the code which was tracker specific and now obsolete that distinguished the two thresholds.
