Loose HLT1 PV reconstruction configuration for 2023 data-taking with velo not fully closed.

Studies with 2023 MC at mu = 1.1 (both velo fully open and 10 mm closing ) have shown that the Allen PV reconstruction efficiency is reduced due to tight cuts in the PV reconstruction. This MR creates a loose configuration which:

  • relaxes the number of required seed tracks from 4 to 3
  • relaxes the histogram and fit chi2 cuts

Throughput was tested with mu=1.1 2023 conditions and found to be above 230 - 250 kHz (depending on Velo opening)

The primary vertex reconstruction efficiency is increased by 5% at a minimal increase of the ghost rate. PVEffmult.pdf
