Draft: HLT1 DiLambda Line
The exclusive DiLambda line triggers the \Lambda \overline{\Lambda}
pairs. Both Lambdas can be reconstructed as long tracks.
This line is aimed at studying physics events such as J/\psi \to \Lambda \overline{\Lambda}
.
The selection criteria for each Lambda are the same as those for the existing inclusive Lambda line. However, the output rate of the inclusive Lambda line is excessively high, leading to the decision to exclude it from the BW division.
In this MR, we introduce a new line that requires the triggering of both \Lambda
and \overline{\Lambda}
by the inclusive lambda selection within the same event.
The output rate is ( 0.60 +/- 0.42) kHz
for 2024-expected-MinBiasMD
.
The efficiency is (6.35 +- 3.07)%
, with an overlap of 0 +/- 7%
with Hlt1LambdaLLDetachedTrack
and 6 +/- 6%
with Hlt1TwoTrackMVA
.
