Remove exclusion in FT test and clean up unsupported platforms

• The preprocessing in the FT test hides changes. To be seen if a dedicated v3 reference is needed.
• We've been running for a while with x86_64_v3 and so the platform exclusion based on the "avx" string has no effect as is removed.
