MP: fix volumeID

Gary Robertson requested to merge groberts-MP-fixVolumeID into master

The volume for the T3 volume was not properly defined, leading to the VolumeID being all zeroes for all elements in this envelope. Thsi was also causing segfaults which have now been fixed.
