These are small fixes to the DDG4 python scripts and the VP ROOT analysis macro.

There are corresponding tests added in Gauss at Gauss@90b0b535, but they will take a while to merge (or even have in lhcb-gaussino) so I suggest to review the changes here and merge independently of that.
