@zexu @lohenry @tlatham @gcorti @ldufour

The first LHCbPR tests for FT are ready. The activation of the tests takes place in !872 (merged).

How to see the results?

  1. Go to https://lblhcbpr.cern.ch/gauss/validan
  2. On the left choose: PRTEST-FG-UpgradeBaseline
  3. On the right choose 2 jobs with the platform: x86_64_v2-centos7-gcc11-opt and x86_64_v2-centos7-gcc11+dd4hep-opt

Below you will find a quick summary.

G4 Visualization

With @fbilandz we prepared the visualization of what Geant4 sees in DetDesc and DD4hep when using only FT. I can already see 2 things to be discussed:

  • in DetDesc NeutronShielding is added together with FT, which is not the same for dd4hep
  • there is no beamhole in dd4hep?
