Tighter common Lambdas
@msokolof and I prepared the following proposal:
LambdaLLTrackFitted would get just a bit tighter in mass,
| Particle | Mass cut (Stages.py) | Mass cut (shared) | Previous mass cut |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lambda Mass LL | 1105-1130 MeV |
+/- 20 MeV |
+/- 20 MeV |
| Lambda Mass DD | 1095-1140 MeV |
1095-1140 MeV |
+/- 64 MeV |
Persist Reco lambdas would be a bit tighter:
| Particle | Mass cut |
|---|---|
| Lambda Mass LL | 1110-1123 MeV |
| Lambda Mass DD | 1105-1128 MeV |
Only for ChargedHyperons, the lambdas would gain a ProbNNPr cut of > 0.03 (so as not to affect TurCal, for example). This looks like a very useful cut for most Lambda users, but not all. Further higher cuts may be applied in each line.
Omegas could be cut to 1302-1342 MeV corrected mass.
