Follow-up from "Change doubles to floats in calo event model"

The following discussion from !3348 (merged) should be addressed:

  • @ahennequ started a discussion: (+12 comments)

The members of this struct could also be changed to float SymMatrix3x3F SymMatrix2x2F Vector2F

There's an interplay between the CaloCluster members and those of LHCb::VertexBase and LHCb::Particle, which are still using doubles. This happens through CaloMomentum and CaloParticle, so it will be better to:

  • first clean up CaloMomentum and CaloParticle, and the duplicates between Calo and CaloFuture.
  • then move to float matrices in CaloClusters_v2.
To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
