remove obsolete `context()`

context() stems from the time prior to the use of python to configure Gaudi applications, and was used to coherently switch sets of properties. At this point, at best it just interferes with the configuration, and creates confusion. Hence it is time to remove it all together so we can stop thinking/worrying about its effects.
