Adapt to not returning the VPChannelID when setting a component

David Hutchcroft requested to merge dhcroft-VPChanIDFix into master

Changed the VP sensor code to set row and col in pointToChannel as two function calls, not using the return value from the first. Needed to adapt to Detector!645 (merged).
