BnoC selections for 2025

Collection of all BnoC changes for 2025 data taking.

BnoC internal deadline: 21st March

Undraft deadline: 28th March

  • !4460 - Add bds2lambdaph lines
    • Do not have enough time to perform a test and will close

Implemented

MRs with Net Bandwidth reduction

  • !4335 (merged) - Tuning of BdToPipPim_NoPID_Full line
    • Tune cuts of Dira, FDCHI2 (B0) and IPCHI2 of pions (max and min)
    • Expect reduction of rate ~3x
  • !4404 (merged) - Remove selective persistency options from BnoC lines following survey where no justification was given for the requested information
    • Modifies persistency in 10 lines
  • !4459 (merged) - Tune B2Lphh lines
    • Remove TT lines
    • Tighten pi_PIDk cuts for two pion cases to reduce rates and bandwidth
    • Add new BToL0barPpKK lines with make_tight_kaons
  • !4348 (merged) - Tune BdsToPpPpPmPm & BdsToPpPm lines
  • !4314 (merged) - BnoC baryonic builders global tunings for 2025
    • XibmToL0KSKm / XibmToL0KSPim LL/DD(8 new HLT2 Turbo lines)
    • Isolation applied to Lb0ToPpPipPimPim_NoPID line
      • Remove obsolete sprucing lines of same final state (total 5 lines)
  • !4526 (merged) - Update BToKShh lines for 2025 data-taking
  • !4610 (merged) - BToEtaKst, Kp resolved lines tuning
    • Focus on reducing multiple candidates
  • !4441 (merged) - New HLT2 Turbo lines BdsToPpPmKpPim, BdsToPpPmPipPim (previously excluded from 2024 data-taking due to high BW
    • Tune existing BdsToPpPmKpKm line so overall net bandwidth reduction
  • !4565 (merged) - Add BcToPpPmKp_NoPID and tune existing 3h lines

MRs with Net Bandwidth increase

  • !4413 (merged) - pi0 selections for 2025
    • includes bug fix: KSpi0 lines that throw error
