functor/combiner proceedings

Niklas Stefan Nolte requested to merge NN_Moore_Functors into master

the dplus2hhh comparison that was shown here.
one can reproduce the numbers if one enables the creation of the functor cache for the dplus_hhh_example (both thor and loki)

this might need a some better naming and placement, i am open to suggestions.
