Adding new D0 -> Kst mu nu Hlt2 line
New HLt2 line collecting the decay chain [D*(2010)+ -> (D0 -> (K*-(892) -> (KS0 -> pi+ pi-) pi-) mu+ nu) pi+]cc, with both long-long and downstream-downstream neutral kaons. Total retention, rate and bandwidth, estimated using the liaisons data files (https://gitlab.cern.ch/-/snippets/3396):
- Retention: (0.0054 \pm 0.0007)% for LL line and (0.0022 \pm 0.0004)% for DD line
- Rate (assuming 1.29 MHz of HLT1 output): 70 Hz for LL and 27 Hz for DD
- Bandwidth: the average event size is 11 kB, so the bandwidth is 0.7 MB/s for LL line and 0.2 MB/s for DD line
Efficiency on signal Monte Carlo (generated from Dst_D0pi,Kstmunu,KS0pi,pipi=TightCut.dec decfile, with 2024-W40.42 conditions):
- LL line: (0.87 ± 0.06) %
- DD line: (1.51 ± 0.08) %
This efficiency is estimated as the ratio between the number of events that selected by HLT2 and the total number of events selected by any line of HLT1. HLT1 has been run on the MC sample with the sequence 'hlt1_pp_forward_then_matching_and_downstream_1200kHz'
