Add some checks for valid MEPs

Follow up issue seen in the pit with the following message: what(): at: requested MFP of idx 0 in a MEP with 0 MFPs.

• Check magic word in MFPs (skip MFPs with bad magic)
• Check that there is at least a valid MFP for ODIN
