Duplicate and loosen cuts of an existing line for PID calibration purposes.
This is a copy of the D02KPiPi0 module (running in s28r2) selecting resolved and merged pi0, keeping only resolved selections.
We inlarge the pi0 mass window (for better control of the mass fit) from 30 MeV (StdLooseResolvedPi0) to 60 MeV (StdLoosePi02gg) and remove the photon PID cut (from 0.2 to 0.0) so these decays can be used for PID calibration (as opposed to the previous line).
We also remove the 0.5 prescale to increase the 2016 statistics from 6M to 12M and to better match the statistics in 2017-2018 (25-30M per year).
PS: these new stripped candidates include the ones selected by the previous s28r2 line. All events with dm(pi0)<30MeV and photon_PID>0.2 will unfortunately be duplicated.
The rate is high, as expected:
