Add improvements

This MR derives from Alex's conversation regarding why we do the things we do for dual booting. Specially regarding the grubenv symlink that EFI always creates and that Arne mentioned.

We also start adding a CHANGELOG as Steve requested

We also remove a couple of packages we do not really need and were leftovers from the dual booting debugging process in the past

• Test on BIOS VMs -> Naturally with the already defined CI
• Test on UEFI VMs -> Branch from this MR changing image properties for booting in UEFI
