py-setuptools >= 58.0.0 removes support for 2to3: https://setuptools.pypa.io/en/latest/history.html#v58-0-0. This causes the errors in #33 (closed) and #34 (closed). Moreover, 57.1.0 is the version used in LCG_101, so this should be used anyway instead of newer versions.
