Add forced sorting to indexed hit containers

Laurent Dufour requested to merge ld-sorted-containers into 2024-patches

This MR adds the ability to force a sorting of the cluster containers, helpful in case in reality we run into ordering issues in data. It works for the FT clusters, VPMicroClusters, and UTHitClusters.

Goes with Rec!3962 and Moore!3556
