+## rsync available on a dedicated endpoint

+As of 04.07.2024, a dedicated endpoint for rsync traffic has been established
+
+The endpoint is **rsync-linuxsoft.cern.ch** and it is open for both internal CERN users, and users from the outside
+
+Historically rsync was available on the main linuxsoft.cern.ch endpoint
+
+Please be aware that from **01.10.2024**, this endpoint will be deprecated
+
